About Dr. Sal Meli ND
Dr. Meli is an 'outside-the-box' thinker, avid reader and permaculturalist. He believes that many complex chronic ailments are driven by a multitude of factors, all of them needing to be assessed. Commonly patients are deficient, toxic, over-worked and inflamed. Defence against the burden of infections, chemicals and parasites is lost.
Dr. Meli's approach to healing involves deep exploration of the various inflammatory triggers via lab testing. Treatments are always individualized to address these findings.
Dr. Meli has recently moved to Nelson, BC! Stay tuned for updates about his new clinic location, coming very soon.

Dr. Meli's Unique Approach Using Genetics
The NutriGenetic Research Institute explores how various environmental factors (ie. toxins, infections) and our individual genetics interact to create bio-chemical vulnerabilities, which invariably lead to disease. Having completed this extensive genetics course, Dr. Meli analyzes his patients' genetic profile to best address their individual needs. Often, the exploration of your unique genetics nuances greatly accelerates the therapeutic process.
